Meet the Founder

Rachel Schatzberg, PhD

“As a former prison psychologist, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be for individuals leaving incarceration to successfully reconnect with the world around them. While many resources exist, navigating them after release can feel overwhelming without guidance, support, and real human connection.I created WECARE to help bridge that gap by connecting people to recovery programs, mental health support, medical assistance, workforce resources, and community organizations all in one place. I believe everyone deserves dignity, support, and a real opportunity to rebuild their lives.”
